The Challenge

Crocodile is a well-known garment company that has been successfully selling their apparel to the Malaysian public.

They wanted a unique programme to reward their retail sales promoters. The current incentive scheme rewarded promoters who achieved their targets with cash incentives. They realized that there were a quite a number those who achieved 85 to 99 percent of their sales target but was not entitled to the incentives. This left them quite demotivated and demoralized.

The Business Boosters Solution

A holiday voucher incentive programme was designed for staff who did not meet their sales target but achieved 85 to 99 percent of their target. They were given a holiday voucher that entitled them a 3-days 2-nights fully paid holiday for two, anywhere in Malaysia.

The Result

The promoters were very happy to receive the holiday vouchers and felt appreciated by the company. They were known to be the only company to run such a programme for their sales promoters and received due recognition.

Client Feedback

Usually, the promoters who achieved their targets were rewarded during the festive seasons and those who came close but were unsuccessful did not receive any mention. With this campaign, the client was able to reward them with vouchers that were perceived of higher value, which were actually a lower cost to the client.
