The Challenge
Macy is a furniture store that provides quality home furnishings in Malaysia for many years. They wanted to run a quick campaign that coincided with Valentine’s Day and was looking for something that will suit the theme. They wanted to reward couples with something memorable with their purchases and wanted a campaign that is different compared to other furniture stores.

Customers who bought at the stores during the campaign were given a vacation voucher that is redeemable for a hotel stay at any of the selected destinations of their choice.
The Result
Due to overwhelming response, the client reordered vouchers up to 3 times and sales spiked up during the campaign. They were pleasantly surprised with the results and the customers were equally happy to receive the holiday vouchers. Customers who were hesitating a purchase, immediately decided to buy when they learned that they can get holiday vouchers with their purchases. The campaign turned what would have been a slow sales period into top spinner and surpassed initial sales target.

They were skeptical about running this campaign coming straight out of the Chinese New Year sales period. But were ecstatic to see the sales pick up in the second week of the campaign and continue to increase thereafter.
